strike one

So here's my attempt at starting a blog. For what purpose I'm still trying to figure out but I'm sitting alone at work with a lack of online movies to watch so why not give this blogging deal a whirl. That and the fact that I've read all the online celebrity gossip a sane mind can handle so time to work these mental muscles. Hoping it'll evolve to be a portal for updating friends and family since not everyone has jumped on board the Facebook train and I've become too lazy to make catch up phone calls these days.

Now what to blog about...what to blog about? I'll start with music. I have this weird obsession where I select a song of the day and then I play it on repeat for a solid 9 hours at work. Needless to say I'm sick of the song by 6PM but it makes the day unique. One way it's different from the next. Today's song is "Long Black Veil" by Dave Matthews. Hold your tongue, I realize they didn't write the song but I love this version and I can't get enough of it.....today.

Sad to see that my first attempt at blogging isn't very interesting but I'm banking on the fact that as I get more comfortable, I'll spice it up a bit. Dwell on the depressing facts of the day, tell some inappropriate/borderline offensive stories and throw a few swear words out there at the risk of offending someone. Give it time....everything worth while takes time.
